30 Bananas a Day!

I had made the choice to start a raw food lifestyle almost 2 months now. it started with the green smoothies and then using the dehydrator and eating a bunch of plain old raw foods. i did however continue to consume cooked lean cuts of meat, which i have now stopped. ive plateaued and have become bored and tired and feel miserable. so i cut the meat! feels better but now i also have a family of 5 to feed 4 boys and myself, so i still have to purchase junk and have not tried the 80/10/10! i dont like alot of nuts as they are both expensive and half the time they all go through some process, its not easy finding raw ones.

i still have to purchase the book. ive learned alot through this website and others but i know i need the book because it will probably explain alot of what i am going to say in the blog.

1. i am concerned about that much fruit consumption, i have hypoglycemia which i still really dont know what it is, i just know it make to much "sugar" in my body. i told my doctor i eat alot of healthy sugars but he said its still sugar. but i feel fine? lol

2. im just not that hungry tthroughout the day. i have taught myself to really only eat when hungry, so not to binge when my body didnt need refueling...do you get?

3. cost! i am cheap!! im scared of buying alot of produce and it turning bad before i finish it. my husband isnt a big supporter he thinks im crazy! but this is a lifestyle i want! i love the simplicity of it! i hated just the average raw food lifestyle everything was ment to remind you of cooked food. i dont want mock cheese or spaghetti made with zucchini because ill eat it and miss the real thing. using the dehydrator hahaha i work fulltime and have 3 little ones it took me 9 hours for one pie! yes it was amazing but sheesh! there goes my whole day. i have to remember to put things in and take them out mix them up. it just isnt practical and when i think about it dehydrating isnt new but it also isnt in its raw natural stage, its altered and id rather keep it as natural as possible. even tho i like real fruit roll ups.

4. i cant afford organic. some things maybe but the majority of organic produce doesnt come in bulk and i havent yet bought anything in bulk. is that going to effect me differently?

im betting these questions are already answered i will continue to read up on everything i can because really what did we eat before, we ate simple, we literally saw food (fruit and veggies) and ate it. id love to say i am on the see food diet, so when i see fresh fruits and veggies i can eat it!

So heres to a beginning that i will hopefully follow up with! i have an early morning at the gym! amazing i am now able to run 5 mins which is a huge accomplishment considering id die after 1min. i also set it for up hill so i get the resistance. i have alot of plans for this life of mine and i will make them come a reality!

it isnt "oh well i guess its just ment to be" .... it "oh heeellllzz yes this is what it is because im making it this way!

take the bull by the horns - i hope i stay this motivated in the 3hours i have to sleep before i goto the gym..(my fault to excited to start this)

Nothing is just meant to be. You are in control of everything. I feel your struggles because I went through the same thing for years. I had endless reasons why I could not do it along with not knowing what to eat. You do need to read 80-10-10. Go directly to Dr. Graham's website www.foodnsport.com

Go to the blog page and then look at the right hand column and read ALL of the articles. Learn why fruit is the misunderstood food on the planet. The article is actually titled that.

Start gradually. If you cannot afford organic fruit, then start with conventional.....but just start. I ate conventional fruit for years before converting to organic. I had to change my life and budget to eat organic, but I did over time. Start with buying all of your greens organic first. Most of the population id greatly deficient in greens so make sure you eat the best of the best with celery, lettuce, broccoli, etc. Then buy fruits organic gradually. You will eventually get to the point where your body will not want anything but organic fruit because it will taste and feel the difference. Hypoglycemia is a blood lipid (fat) disorder not a blood sugar disorder. All of these blood sugar conditions are misunderstood by the allopathic medical community, so no offense to your doctor, but don't ask them for advice, they do not know how to help you. It is not their fault, it is just that they are trained n drug therapy not Hygienic healing. Dr. Graham's book 80-10-10 will give you clarity and relief to all of your worries and fears. I have read all of the raw books (more than 50 in the past 10 years) and 80-10-10 is the best I have ever read. His method and science healed my 10 year candida problem in less than a week. I have been a Vegan for many years and am slowly transitioning and stepping through the doorway to raw. Embrace it. Don't rush it. Seek the truth. When you read truth it will resonate with you.
