30 Bananas a Day!

So I am happy to announce I was able to handle my first 1000 cal meal! I was introduced to this lifestlye and forum over a year ago, but have not been able to succeed 100%. I flirted with high fruit for a few months and felt great, but was in deep trouble by dinner time. I calculated what a typical breakfast and lunch, I was barely getting 600 calories... No wonder I jumped to rice and veggie patties by dinner! I bought lots of bananas, persimmons, and some kiwis and tangerines for variety :) to be honest I'm not going 100% until after thanksgiving, (I want to give myself a fighting chance, and need my nanners to ripen) bit this is the first time I feel like I will be able to this. I am very excited for my new life!

For breakfast I ate 7 bananas and 4 persimmons (it was all I had ripe, hope it is okay combining) in smoothie form

Things I would like to remind myself about my pains with cooked food.

- I have gained 30 lbs from my ideal
- low energy
- severe acne on face/ chest/ arms
- dry sensitive scalp
- dry/peeling/ chapped lips
- SEVERE menstrual pain
- swollen tongue?? Not sure how, but its been swollen for several weeks
-brittle nails

Great news! Keep it up. :))  Big breakfasts are definitely a major importance, as Jacob said. :)

congrats!!! i think this is the key, as i was not able to succeed with cravings at night until i made it a point to make my breakfast HUGE!!! glad to hear!!

nice job:)
i did that for the first week i tried to go mostly raw, no wonder i felt awful. but over time, you get used to handling more food. i'm such a tiny person, most people doubt that i can down 10-15 bananas or apples, or 2-3 heads of lettuce in a sitting.

Good Luck....we can definitely use each other to lean on......this will be my first ALL fruit and veggie Thanksgiving!....I am thankful for a family that does support my lifestyle though- they may not live it themselves but do support me in my ventures! And they know it is a healthy way to go!.....But at 70 yrs old people may have a tougher time making the change....and with health related issues that nutritionists tell my Dad to not eat this and that, it makes things difficult.....QUESTION to the nutritionists though- if the meds and foods contradict one another why not drop the meds and not the food?!?!?!?
