It appears that my biggest hurdle is spacing my eating far enough away from my workouts. My workouts are too difficult to eat anything at least 2 hours before. Which poses a bit of a challenge. Today, I ate 17 dates an hour before attempting to run intervals. Yeah, that was a disaster. Nothing peeves me more than having a failed workout. So, my choices are: I skip my after school snack and rush home to workout or I eat my after school snack and wait until late afternoon to workout. I can't ever seem to only eat a "small" snack before a workout. I think my first option is the one I'm going to go with.
In the grand scheme of things, life is pretty good if this is my biggest hurdle with this lifestyle.
