Everyone I talked to yesterday wants part of the celebration food I'm preparing a week from Friday! I'm going to have to make double batches of my 2 main dishes and make certain I have enough for myself! YUMMMM
I've got to say truly I was never a good COOK. But I am the best damn preparer of raw food I know of! LOL My juices and smoothies are legendary in Boise, Idaho and beyond. My salads are legendary. Even children love what I prepare and ask for more. Not bad for a raw foodist if I say so myself.
As you can tell I am salavating a bit over EATING food! True, I have to admit I can hardly wait until I eat a whole tomatoe, dip a piece of celery in a home-made dip and stuff it in my mouth, wrap a banana in a lettuce leaf. OMG! It's almost time to feast myself to health.
I am soooo happy!!!! My doctor has released me to begin my added exercise regimen after my juice feast ends on Monday. Actually I'm exercising a bit on Sunday morning. He trusts that I will use good judgement on how much and how hard. I am not going to do anything silly.
The best news ever: he ok'd me to train this year for the next "Race to Robie Creek" 1/2 marathon. I walk it guys - I am not a runner! It is the toughest 1/2 marathon in the Pacific-North West. I did in in 2008 and suffered for it afterwards. This time I will do it powered by fruit and greens and NOT suffer afterwards.
Yep, yesterday was a sensational day for sure.
2 more days to go on the juice feast journey to a cleaner more healthy me. I'm ready to move on.

My bicycle ? Well, forget it. We lived in dormitory of a printer . Several years ago, the printer busted up. From then on, there was no security guard. I could't find a place to place a bicycle.
If I want to take exercise, just go to the sports center nearby.
Comment by ORGANIC811LFRV on May 19, 2012 at 10:21pm Thanks Angel! I am going to the store today that sponsors the event to get some details and I'm starting my exercise program back up again. I'm soooo excited!
What do you do for exercise there in China? Do you bike?
You have ample time to train before October. I have confidence in you !
Comment by ORGANIC811LFRV on May 19, 2012 at 9:14pm Angel, I'll be wearing a T-Shirt saying something like: Powered by fruit! LOL I'm going to be walking a 1/2 marathon in October this year and then The Race To Robie Creek next April. 2 1/2 marathons a year will keep me in tip-top shape. I can hardly wait. 2 more days and I can start my exercise. My doc wants me on solid food first.
Marathon ? May God bless you, lady.
When you mount the podium, you can say : I am not a runner, I am a cook.
Comment by ORGANIC811LFRV on May 19, 2012 at 9:16am Nan, I think it is our subconscious telling us to eat RAW.LOL Simplicity is one of the reasons 811rv truly gets my attention too.
Thanks for your continued support. 2 more juicing days and I get to start eating again. WOO WOO!
Comment by Minium on May 19, 2012 at 8:41am Well done! You're almost there.
I can relate - I'm a terrible cook cook but I'm much better when I uncook. Simplicity is what works best for me!
Have a lovely evening, I'm off to bed. Open market tomorrow morning - that gets me excited!

Comment by ORGANIC811LFRV on May 19, 2012 at 12:46am We are more than creative, Jennifer. We are wild women! They love our passion and our combos. And, of course, we feed them REAL FOOD! LOL They are starved for what their body craves.
Comment by Jennifer Dillard on May 19, 2012 at 12:39am yay how exciting! :) I am known for my salads too lol. When my friends visit they always ask for one. I think its because we are more creative with our salads then most? I don't know but its fun lol.
