It is officially one month since i began 811.
It is a lot easier than what I imagined it would be. I do not deny the fact that I have had a few 'slip-ups', three to count them.. and like the old saying goes third times the charm, the intense stomach cramping and upset digestion/heartburn and constipation that resulted was enough to to make it my last unsatisfactory meal.
The benefits i have encountered in one short month are nothing short of miraculous.
One month ago, I had restless sleep almost every night, horrific dreams, mood swings, bouts of depression (diagnosed but boycotted the taking of prescribed meds), chronic sciatic pain, acid reflux, candida, regular headaches (3 a week), little to no energy, little to no sex drive, leg pain, knee pain, dry skin on face and arms, psoriasis on scalp , and more... Obesity being a major health issue.
In one short month I have rested sleep every night. I have dreamed uplifting dreams of giant fruit trees :P, I have been angry/ sad all of 2 times (and in the very beginning) my sciatic has only the slightest of twinges when i move suddenly (have not had any of the constant searing pain that i lived with daily), have not had heartburn, indigestion or reflux (only when i have slipped up), I have had 2 headaches (both in the same first week), no sign of candida, energy has increased ( I am finding that I WANT to move), sex drive markedly increased, lessened leg and knee pain, skin seems to be balancing itself, psoriasis reduction and my weight has reduced by 10kg.
I began 811 after a lot of research. When I was comfortable with my level of understanding did i then embark on this wonderful change of life. I devoured the 801010 book in a day flat, googled and watched youtube to further my understanding , to ensure my water intake was optimal (I drink around 4 litres a day), to ensure my calorie intake is optimal (I am putting in just over 2000 cals at the moment - but with absolute trust in Freelee am upping this) and to increase my excercise to an optimal level (daily walking and 3 x weekly dancing WILL be running, climbing, biking, swimming, and every other way i can think of the play)
After all my research I found myself here at 30BaD. And it has been so uplifting to be welcomed so kindly by the family here. I thank everyone for being who they are and helping me just by being members, your example shines like a beacon to me.
With love and respect to all.
