30 Bananas a Day!

I'M having trouble sticking to 80 10 10...any tips how to keep on track

Hi guys

So i came to 80 10 10 after having eating problems as well as bad skin and after reading that you can eat unlimited calories and your skin gets better i thought i would give it a try. I have been on and off 80 10 10 for the last 6months but i  am having trouble sticking to it. I would love to do a 30 day challenge but feel i dont have the motivation or support to do so :/ any tip how i can stay on track? Also how long does it take for your weight to go down?

thanks heaps in advance :)

For motivation keep surrounding yourself with people achieving the results you'd like to receive.

also! water!!!!!! 1 litre when you wake up is so helpful. it really helps the body communicate calm and effectively . while ive been doing this my boyfriend, who is so so so not about to go raw, but has taken on making sure his hydrated and at least one banana a day (lol) which he has a a pre breakfast to give him an appetite.  but he thinks it has be life changing, just those two tiny things.

hows your skin going? my excema has been pretty quiet and cronic fatigue, gone :) im still waiting on the weight to just fall off but i think its happening gradually and i have a feeling if i did some more muscle activating exercise that would help. these days im feeling too good to worry to much about my weight. i think that has been a helpful attitude change for me. focusing on the other positives, give the weight a little time to repair.

im on this journey since September, i hear ya!

if im having a hard time ill have a vegan transition sort of meal like potatoes with curry powder or rice pasta or raw no rice sushi rolls with a tiny miso paste and avo inside (not straight up salt) in them, or rice paper rolls. on the occasion i have these meals they do two things

1. they satisfy the craving in one way but

2. im not normally as satiated as i would feel if i just had a raw fruit meal , or i feel total crap the next day so

they affirm the RAW 80/10/10

also i find that when in doubt a berry salad is ultimate! all fresh blueberries and strawberries and raspberries if you can get them.......so so so satisfying.

carob is a great thing to add to stuff alwell and its got a great nutrition profile!

and yeah i agree with elishba, if you have bananas on hand and just have like five over a craving maybe with a salad after and some coconut water it will stop. megan elizabeth has some gorgeous recipes for handy deserts like choc brownies and oatmeal cookies that keep well in the freezer, good for hard times.

for me i try keep it day to day. every meal i make a decision. i may have a craving but i think what mineral of vitamin that is really for and see my options. choosing the right choice is affirming for the mind and body so creating an over all new system and a new craving catalouge you might say. so more and more you find your cravings maybe rv options.

and if you falter do not be hard on your self! because that can lead to some slippery slops. just accept and move on to the next meal and choice, learn from the last meal and make a better choice, for yourself.

be in your power and listen carefully to your body but discipline it when the mind is out of line.

its hard at times i know, but the great thing about this life style, especially if you are coming from a  health issue back ground is that it is fully putting the power back in your hands. no skin specialist, no doctors, no herbalist, its you and that is a potent healing tool, and life skill.

all the best today

The weight loss depends on a lot of factors...

I have been told that I will gain weight because I eat to many bananas.. but I've never felt better... No weight gain for me so far.

But I do have cravings sometimes... Last time I had cooked spinach+salt my kidney hurt.... so I think raw is better.

Hi Adele,

if you stick to the organic raw vegan lifestyle, you will see the difference pretty soon! just start your day with a fruit meal or smoothie or juice, and eat salad/fruit throughout the day and in the evening a huge bowl of salad! oranges are in season right now, so you can make some delicious smoothies like 5oranges and handful of spinach or handful of cranberries and add some coconut water! yummy!

you can also chek out Dara Dubinet's youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/daradubinet or Dan McDonald  http://www.youtube.com/user/liferegenerator or Kristina at http://www.youtube.com/user/FullyRawKristina
