Comment by Vegmail on October 23, 2012 at 6:24am Try a warm feet bath with coarse salt. In addition any of these valerian, hawthorn, passiflora or lavender infusion may help :) Warm water dilates the blood vessels so blood pressure falls down ;)
Have a beauty sleep !!!

Comment by DURIANRIDER on October 22, 2012 at 5:51pm Get up at 5am.
Get up early if you want to go to bed early.
Get up late if you want to go to bed late.
Comment by Eva on October 22, 2012 at 5:15pm If you set your alarm for 6am, I'm sure you'll be reasonably tired by 9pm :-).
I find the best way to get tired is by being active - physically and mentally.
My job as an IT consultant is rather demanding so even without exercise, I am pretty knackered at the end of the day, but exercise definitely makes my body tired.
If I really can't go to sleep I usually read a few pages and that'll make my eyes close very quickly, even if it's a good book :-).
I also found it relaxing to lay in bed on my back with my legs up against the wall (perpendicular to my torso). Stay that way for a couple of minutes, it might help :-).
Good luck!

Comment by Daniel Kerr on October 22, 2012 at 4:36pm My favourite is similar to a meditation technique. Concentrate on your breathing, eliminate all other thoughts. .count in 'one' and out 'two'. WHen someting else comes in to your mind let it run out again and keep focussing on your breath.
Works for me.
