Just last week I brought home lots of herbs and started using them in my salad dressings. I would have them pretty much everyday. But then a not long afterwards I realized that I was always bloated. Even in the morning I would still be pretty bloated from the night before, and I would get even more bloated after having just a dateorade. I hated that feeling and no matter how little I ate I was still bloated and couldn't eat as much as usual. But then again, how could I get bloated and feel sick from fruit? It took me a few days to realize that the only difference I made in my diet was adding the herbs. I left out herbs last night and this morning my stomach felt empty and it was much flatter.
I also came up with a quote or two on my own to help me decide on which foods to eat and which ones to avoid:
Only combine foods that would taste great on their own, completely unprocessed.
Foods are not meant to be processed. The only foods that would taste great on their own are fruits and vegetables. Foods that taste horrible by itself, unprocessed/raw would be meat, dairy, eggs, veggies that are painful to swallow, anything bitter, and HERBS!! As nice as they smell, I wouldn't fancy eating a bowl of thyme (yuck!). I'd much rather munch on lettuce than parsley by itself.
I hope this blog has helped anyone who has/is having the same experience that I had!
