I was going through old Durianrider videos and got hit with this wave of gratitude.
I am so lucky to have landed on the right information when i decided to try moving toward raw eating.
I could have gotten so sucked into the high fat raw, or gimicky crap.
I even wonder if good fortune didn't propel me toward raw until several weeks ago, precisely because there is so much good information out there now. If I'd been propelled toward raw 2-3 years ago, I might never have found the right guidance.
Like I said in my bio, I did find and buy and read virtually ALL the natural hygiene books out there 20 years ago. But back then, there was no real-life information on how to eat, such as " to make this work you needed to stay low fat and get a vast amount of calories."
So here is a typical example my attempt at transitioning natural hygiene 20 years ago:
Breakfast: Two tasteless red delicious apples from the cheap grocery store and one all-yellow banana.
Lunch: Salad of romaine, conventional tomatoes, cucumber, carrots, celery, with bottled dressing
Dinner: Vegetable and brown rice stir fry with cashews(using olive oil)
(by this time I might have had 1200 calories and 30% fat)
Night snack: Screw it let's get ice cream.
Lots of sweet fruit calories is the missing key to the treasure that I never found before. So grateful I got the right information this time.

I hear you! I was heading down the raw path and was looking into dehydrators and food processors and I kept stumbling upon this site. At first I was turned off by the crazy looking cartooned image of DR and Freelee, perhaps in a irrational way, but once I got into the content! Makes a lot of sense! So glad to have found it as well.
