30 Bananas a Day!

Freelee's challenge: 1 year of doing the whole shebang--diet, exercise, water, sleep, etc.  Stop worrying about weight gain and the momentary ups and downs of detox.  Just do it!  

Exercise

45 min. hiking, some of it carrying my 3 year-old

15 min. gardening

40 min. Just Dance 3

Food

Meal 1: 12 med. bananas, 1 C. frozen blueberries, 1/2 C. frozen mango blended in a smoothie

Meal 2: 2 med. apples, 13 Black Sphinx dates, 6 C. romaine, 2 C. corn pasta, 1 lb. pkg broccoli, 1/2 C. peas, 2 TBS nutritional yeast, 2 TBS olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt

1 liter coconut water

Meal 3: 1/2 C. broccoli, 3/4 C. cooked mushrooms

3469 cal.  84/10/6 C/F/P, 1093 mg. sodium 

Water

12 cups/ 96 oz.

Sleep

9:30-8:30 Good sleep!

Today's Pleasures

Wildflowers 

The sound of the wind whispering in the white pine trees

Sharing a hike with my little one... at one point he started singing his own version of Itsy Bitsy Spider... did you know the Itsy Bitsy spider turned off the water spout?  LOL!

Giving and receiving empathy with a friend

Detox 

White coating on my tongue upon awakening

Swollen under-eye circles in the morning

A little bit of gas

Redness and bumpiness on forehead, nose and chin 

Stress level

Low

Daily Thoughts

I have a couple of baby tomato plants up in my garden.  It was sunny but cold today.  But the forecast says it's supposed to be nice tomorrow!  I hope so...
