30 Bananas a Day!

Freelee's challenge: 1 year of doing the whole shebang--diet, exercise, water, sleep, etc.  Stop worrying about weight gain and the momentary ups and downs of detox.  Just do it!  

Exercise

30 min. circuit training

1 1/2 hr. gardening

 

Food

Meal 1: 4 mangos

Meal 2: 12 medium bananas

Meal 3: 32 oz. o.j., homemade polenta pizza (polenta, tomato paste, kale from my garden, onions, salt and herbs)

1 liter coconut water

2972 cal.  91/4/5 C/F/P, 1695 mg. sodium 

Water

16 cups/ 128 oz.

Sleep

10:30-7:30 Slept o.k.  Wakeful in the early morning hours. 

Today's Pleasures

First mangos of the year!  (They could have been a tiny bit riper but still delish!)

Planting more lettuce

Playing with my little one.  He has the BEST laugh.  And he was loving the mangos so much, I almost didn't get any.

Love being here and giving and getting support.

Detox 

White coating on my tongue upon awakening

Muscle soreness from Wednesday's squats and lunges

Swollen under-eye circles in the morning

Some gas

Minor redness and a lot of bumpiness on forehead, nose and chin 

Stress level

Low

Daily Thoughts

It's supposed to storm for the next three days.  Boo.  I wanted to get into my garden this weekend.  Well, no use complaining about spring rain.  LOL!  I submitted a request to get my event approved to post it here on this site today.  Greenmama's Greens Party is happening on Saturday, June 2nd.  Anyone who wants to come should send me a msg. and I will give you my address.

@ Jenna:  Woo Hoo! Jump right in.  @ Helena: Sorry to hear about your unripe mango experience.  Depending on where you live, it can be almost impossible to get decent ones.  I don't normally drink much coconut water, but I got a good deal on a case.  Not organic, though.  :(  @ February Girl and LauraLily:  Thanks for your constant encouragement.  I can't tell you how much I appreciate it!

Hi Greenmama, I'm glad you enjoyed your mangos, I had 3 last week and they could really be riper, I felt really weird and bloated after them so now I'm rather doing bananas because I can recognize if they're ripe or not.

I'm quite impressed of drinking coconut water so I searched if it is sold somewhere in my city, I found an organic one but it was just a very small package and very expensive. Maybe I'll be lucky with my next searching:)

Wow, your dedication to just post this everyday and actually stick to it is really impressive. I might take some of your advice and just do it :) for a year exactly like you say on here. 

Anyways its really inspirational to just see your post every single day.
