30 Bananas a Day!

Freelee's challenge: 1 year of doing the whole shebang--diet, exercise, water, sleep, etc.  Stop worrying about weight gain and the momentary ups and downs of detox.  Just do it!  

Exercise

45 min. circuit training

Meal 1: 96 oz. o.j.

Meal 2: 12 med. bananas

Meal 3: 6 C. romaine lettuce, 1 C. sliced English cucumber, 3 Roma tomatoes, soup (black beans, brown rice, spinach, carrots, mushrooms, Herdez salsa)

3688 cal.  88/4/8 C/F/P, 1695 mg. sodium 

Water

14 cups/ 112 oz.

Sleep

9 p.m.-8 a.m. Slept well.  

Today's Pleasures

Waking refreshed from a good night's sleep

Time with my kids and patience and energy to enjoy them

Loving my muscles and what they can do

Love this community and watching others grow and better their lives 

An easy, light, pain-free period

Detox 

White coating on my tongue upon awakening

Swollen hands and feet in the morning

Swollen under-eye circles asnd "sleepy sand" in my eyes in the morning

Some gas

Minor redness and a lot of bumpiness on forehead, nose and chin 

Stress level

Low.

Daily Thoughts

I wanted to get more done today.  Working outside the home with a nurseling (even if he's 3) is a delicate balance.  I posted here a lot yesterday because I was either nursing or juicing oranges with the other hand.  LOL!

OMG, you guys, I forgot and left last blog's sleep on there.  This night, I only slept from 10-7.  Oops! And yes, I feel sooo much better with 10 hours than 8 hours.  @ Jessie James: I should watch my sodium, too.  I have perpetual bloat!  I'll get there.  @Lala: I just eat 'em bananas one after another.  It's kinda weird, that I like how I feel after I eat bananas so much more than I like how I feel when I eat beans and rice with salt, but I like how beans and rice taste and feel in my mouth more.  Now mangos or sapodilla or cherimoya, I could eat those nonstop and nothing's better!  @Sofie:  Keep on going, you'll get there!  @ Helena: Thank you!  Just Dance is a game for the Wii.  It is lots of fun and a great workout.  I get lots of sweat going.

I am so happy that you are able to have that time for plentiful sleep, and so proud of you for utilizing it to actually sleep!!!! Even on the nights when we have the opportunity to sleep 10-12 hours, it is easy to not take advantage. But I ALWAYS feel better with long sleep...especially emotionally. Good food alone wont do it!!!

yay for easy pain free periods!!! i have not experienced this yet but hopefully the longer im on 801010 it will become very very very easy! light! and pain free! woooo
