30 Bananas a Day!

Freelee's challenge: 1 year of doing the whole shebang--diet, exercise, water, sleep, etc.  Stop worrying about weight gain and the momentary ups and downs of detox.  Just do it!  

Exercise

30 min. dance aerobics

2 x 4 block walk

Food

Meal 1: 76 oz. o.j., 1/2 C. black raspberries

Meal 2: 16 C. watermelon, 1/2 C. blueberries

Meal 3: 3 Ataulfo mangos, 8 C. raw bok choy, black beans, rice, green peas, corn, lime juice

2759 cal.  87/4/9 C/F/P, 472 mg. sodium (no table salt)

Water

12 cups/ 96 oz.

Sleep

Slept pretty well from 11:00-8:30.  

Today's Pleasures

Having a great time at a party with my kids

Seeing a mama rabbit nursing her babies and sharing that with the kids

We finally got some rain!

Detox 

Some itching, not too serious

Boil on my inner thigh, getting better

White coating on my tongue 

Swollen, dark under-eye circles in the morning  

Minor redness and bumpiness on forehead, nose, chin and upper chest

I've noticed a few small moles seem to be scabbing over as if they are falling off

Stress level

Low

Daily Thoughts 

Day 6 salt-free.  

I had a very busy day and spent longer than I planned at a place where I didn't have food.  Then, when I got home at 8 p.m., I was light-headed and starving and lacking in easy calorie options.  So plain beans, rice and vegetables (leftover from kids lunch) was my decision.  At first it was weird without the salt.  Lime juice helped.  But now I know I can eat these foods without salt in a pinch.
