I fell off the 30 day challenge last week and have been beating my self up good for it. However, I am rallying today and kicking off my morning with my first ever dragon fruit (with strawberries)! First thing I thought of when I opened it up was, "food as a fashion statement!". How beautiful is this fruit? and so tasty, too!
But, I digress...
Although, I did fall off the 80-10-10 wagon for 5 days, I did stay vegan with about 1/3 cooked food, (and 1 day of Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk vegan fare...read fried), my heart, mind and soul just were not with it. But guilt over my compromise kept rearing its ugly head.
After agreeing to be kind, and forgiving to, myself, I am at day 1 again. I even convinced my husband to give it a shot and he is devouring the 80-10-10 book and giving the lifestyle a try.
So here we go, again!
Thanks for listening.
Cheers,
Lisa

Comment by rawkbobster on July 12, 2012 at 1:50pm it happens. you plan a trip and it starts ok then maybe you find a unexpected road closed or weather interferes throws you off the map you had. so you just try to find another way temporarily to get back to the main road. don't fret too much you will still get there. you still have a car and a compass.
