I may not be losing weight yet, but I can tell 80/10/10 is making a difference on my health. In late March when I first began this diet, I experienced a lot of stomach issues, but felt better energy. Half way into April I became really sick while I was on vacation-tonsilitis of some kind. Then half way through May I got sick again and began coughing up phlegm again. Back into October of last year I did a month long raw cleanse-low calorie and lots of juicing-and during that whole month I detoxed with coughing and coughing up loads of nasty phlegm. Its not fun, but I think being around smokers most of my life led to my lungs being in really bad shape. Since I quit my job at Applebees a month ago, I have been focusing on my diet and exercise, and now I'm feeling much better. Acne has been an issue for years, so I was hoping this lifestyle would clear it up. I stopped wearing makeup -most of the time- my acne was so bad sometimes I had to lightly cover up with vegan mineral powder. At first I thought not wearing makeup and getting more sun was really helping, and then bam 2 weeks ago I had a horrible breakout-one of the worst I've ever had. It was upsetting, but now its mostly gone. I'm hoping it was just detox, because I have been sticking to the diet really well. This week I've been over 3,000 calories multiple times and its getting easier everyday. Except for watermelons giving me that awful upper stomach pain, I am experiencing great digestion and more energy. My fitness goals are to run a half marathon, be able to do a chin-up(i've never done one in my life), and to run a 2:35 800m. I have a lot of work ahead of me because I was never a good runner in my past. I did the 800m yesterday to see how much time I need to shave off and I did it in 3:56 and I felt like I was going to die haha I feel my muscles growing, but I dont see the fat going anywhere yet. I'm hoping my body will get used to the diet soon and ditch the excess. I've wanted a flat stomach my whole life and now I'm so close I can't give up. I'm closer than I've ever been to reaching these goals because I am eating right and everyday I am active. Thank you Doug Graham, Harley, Freelee and all you fruit freaks for keeping me inspired and excited for a better life. Follow your bliss.
