Just ran back from the coffee shop (no, I didn't have coffee!). It's less than 10 minutes run but before I went LFRV running half this distance would have left me panting, heavy limbed and sweating. I cycle a lot, so I'm not unfit but I guess it's the use of different muscles that made running tiresome as it's not something I do a lot.
This little run was easy and comfortable, I wasn't tired and didn't break into a sweat. Immediately I cut right back on nuts and seeds I noticed a surge of new energy and a kind of loose and flexible feeling as if my joints had been given a good oiling (!) - a kind of physical clarity. There was no tiredness in my legs after this little jog and now I'm keen to take this new-found spring in my step and, well, run with it!
