Hey everyone!
SO I have been a member here for quite some time. I originally came for weight loss, and never fully committed myself. I will say over the past 3 years I have eaten the most fruit out of anyone in my family, just nowhere near enough to keep me away from cooked food. Now I am an in massage school, and loving it! The only thing is after I do my massages I get home and nap, and then I want to go to sleep early! I'm not really living a lot right now and my friends / family miss me! I know the answer is this lifestyle. I started drinking dateorade every morning and it has made a huuge difference. I first started with 10 medjool to 15...it was hard to get down. Then I got degleet noor and 15 did nothing! Its all I have left right now and this morning im having 25 and I feel like I can still eat more. I lookd them up and they are only 20 calories per date? But more calories per gram? If im having trouble eating a 1000 calorie meal up front should I go with medjool and deglet? Also, My teacher says doing 1 hour massage burns 300 calories. I typically do 3 in a row, should I eat 3400 a day then? and would this be enough physical activity maybe with some walking and yoga once I have the energy? It feels good to be back, and thanks for anyones help!!

Medjool= 66 cals each
Deglet noor= 20ish cals each
This is probably why 15 deglets did nothing :).
For such an active lifestyle (burning 900 cals!) you definitely need lots of cals. 3400 sounds about right! But for now, just take it one day at a time and focus on getting at least 3000 and see how you feel.
