30 Bananas a Day!

Feel sick today as i have been doing alot lately, i had a horrible failed experiment eating 6kg of kiwin like a week ago and did not realise that thy were not ripe enogh so my stomach just got destroid. I will start slow and not force food down, i will just undereat untill my body says it want to have more calories, i know i can eat 3000kcal so that wont be a problem. All i have eaten today is 5big apples and will have a few bananas and some spinach before i go to bed, hopefully i will get more hungry tomorrow. Did 30min of exercise in the grass, some running and pushups etc.

Yeah, I completely agree with that statement about buying kiwis in Europe. I'm German and they're not so great in Germany - the regular ones at least.

I'm sorry to hear that you didn't have the best experience with them in NZ, but from reading the link from that thread, there seem to be people who know when they're edible and not edible.

Out of curiosity, are you doing a working holiday in NZ? :)

Hi Athena, nice to see that someone is actually reading this :) YEs buyng kiwi in Europe is just a wast of time, did the same thing when i first tried 811 but think i ate only 3...

The gold kiwis are better but still not good enogh, got rly disapointed with kiwis in NZ, would think that this is a paradise for them but they are actually much the same as i Europe, only so much cheaper but what help is that when you cant eat them. I am doing some trials now however on trying to se if i can get them to ripen at home. Got some useful info from my own thread here:

That's always good to know how to tell when fruits are ripe. Are you eating the gold kiwis or the common kind? With the common kind, I tried eating 4 kg, but had a nasty experience after eating only 8. My tongue started burning, swelling, and even bleeding a little bit. But I've heard the gold kiwis are much more mild and therefore enjoyable.

By the way, do you eat your kiwis with or without the skin?
