30 Bananas a Day!

DAY 7 OF 100 80/10/10 NO OVERT FAT DAY SWEET AND SAVORY

Because of my issues with my computer, this is the THIRD time writing this blog.  GRRRRRRRRRRR

 

Yesterday was a wonderful day again.  I can get used to this for sure!  I had 9 cups of my Ambrosia-Banana-Citrus smoothie; 6 cups of my V6; 3 bananas; and for dinner Tomatoe-Basil soup from 80/10/10 and Spinach-Pesto Salad: http://www.30bananasaday.com/video/overt-fat-free-raw-vegan-pesto-p...  This needs some work on it.  I messed it up last night and also want to tweek it a bit. 

 

I am amazed how satisfied and full I am after eating this food.  I love my greens and vegies savory -no sweet! and I love my fruit and fruit smoothies sweet.  I am getting into the wonderful world of fresh herbs and feeling like a kid with new toys. LOL 

 

My Cron-o-meter stats: 2393 cals  87.3/5.1/7.7  994.5 mg sodium 96.9 gms fiber

La Banane, yesterday I realized I can easily turn the Tomatoe-Basil soup into Tomatoe-Basil Marinara sauce that would be spectacular.  I didn't really like Kristina's Epic Marinara Sauce much.  So, I'll try my idea out and post my own recipe next Sunday morning.  I'm making a raw pizza for a luncheon with friends on Saturday.

Nan i came up with a great idea for a marinara sauce also. I'll post it next weekend. Have you thought any further about extending your 80/10/10 program? Why quit?

I completely agree with you - I also feel just like a kid on a new adventure. Fun fun fun!

Thanks for the recipes - I'll definitely try the tomato-basil soon. I'm going to have a quick look at the spinach-pesto salad.
