I am proud of myself --- as I survived a coffee free day. I had some negative thoughts. However, I knew it was just my body wanting the caff! Lol. I have been using the power positive thinking. I really didn't think much or count calories during the day. Kind of let my tummy be the lead plus I PLANNED for outings etc.

Fresh apple carrot ginger juice
Smoothie with 4 nanas, peaches and a raw vegan "taco" --- walnut "meat" and salsa
Salad with cucumber/tomato/green pepper/red onion and ginger orange dressing
Water - Just 3 cups - but I peed often --- and clear.

I stopped using my topical cleanser and prescription acne medicines. I have just been using water and a simple oil free moisturizer. My face seems less irritated, and happier. I still have some minor bumps on my forehead - but nothing major. Energy was okay today. I felt fine. No stomach upsets or anything. I did crave cooked food in the evenings - went away after I ate my salad.
Today went well. I will need more greens in the future though. To me that is an important component of this diet! In terms of cals I know I am over 2000. I ate a very small portion of fat in my taco --- but that is it.
I really enjoy my savory meals --- being able to eat even a little taco and then to pair with a smoothie with more cals really helped me!!
Also, packing fresh juice is an awesome way for me to ensure I stay "carbed up." Although it isn't the most ideal way to get fruits/veggies --- better than stopping somewhere!

Fresh apple juice
Tortilla with grilled vegetables, corn, salsa and a little guac
Extra large banana and celery smoothie with a few dates tossed in
Today was much better!
