So today is my 4th or 5th day of being raw vegan. I have to say that today is the best day so far because a lot of the detox symptoms I had are gone! On top of that, from the moment I woke up today my energy level was higher than it has ever been! I honestly felt like I had taken some drug or something because I was so happy and prancing/dancing/ and singing all over the house! I feel fantastic and I do not ever want to give up on this diet.
Breakfast- smoothie consisting of 5 bananas and a cup of berries and water.
Lunch- veggie "pizza"
snack- 1 Mango and a banana smoothie (3 bananas)
dinner- yet to come!

Comment by Dylann Stein on October 25, 2012 at 3:04am It seems you are getting there. Great job and keep it going.
I started yesterday, though failed. I have begun again today and am going strong. I feel a bit tired but a lot less busy which is wonderful.
Comment by Seana Marche on October 23, 2012 at 3:30am I was pretty moody, and felt nauseous sometimes. I also had a bit of digestion problems but that was from not drinking enough water. I slowed down the detox symptoms a bit by eating a bit of cooked food (still vegan) once a day. For example I would have a steamed sweet potato or a bit of beans and rice. I tried going 100 percent and it was a shock to my body and I felt very weak so I am taking it one meal at a time now, I would say I am 90 percent raw, aiming for 100. I just have to get in the groove of things. Have you started yet?
