On my bike ride this morning, I stopped at the bank and noticed I had a missed call. I got the job I wanted at the garden center at Lowes! Lucky for me Lowes is in the same shopping center as the bank, so I went in and filled out paperwork…its going to be a hot job and a 3 mile bike ride to work, but I’m excited. Kind of nervous.. since I don’t really know anything about plants…but I want to learn and it’s definitely better than working at crapplebees. Today I biked 10 miles, layed out by the pool, walked to pick up my box of bananas, worked on a drawing, and went out with my roomie. It was an all-around great day =] I had 3 big banana meals and I did have a salad of lettuce and cucumbers to avoid an awkward social situation at dinner tonight. I’m sure my body needed some greens anyways =p Follow Your Bliss -GG

Comment by Brandon Schaefer on October 5, 2012 at 2:31pm Sounds like an awesome day! Wish I could ride my bike to work - the roads around here aren't too bike friendly and my work is 12 miles away lol. Glad you got a cool job though, definitely sounds better than working in a restaurant :)
