Hey everyone!
Today felt like such a long day. No running this morning, but I did bike to my garden and do some weeding. I'm not really sure how I feel about the way I ate today. It definitely was not as good as it could have been. First of all, I had a handful of raw kale chips this afternoon, which is not 811 friendly. Then I went to a raw potluck at Washington Park and ate a bit of almond dip, which is also not completely 811 friendly. However besides that, I ate a bunch of bananas, watermelon, and oranges the rest of the day. I had fairly high energy all day with no spikes or drops. Usually I need to lye down for parts of the day, but I did not need to do that today. Granted, I did not work out in the morning, and that is usually what causes my fatigue.
I brought a mango basil dip that I got from one of Megan Elizabeth's videos. Everyone loved it! It is really delicious. It is just mangos, dates, chives, and basil blended together.
