30 Bananas a Day!

I am feeling a bit down in the dumps today. I went on a 5 mile run this morning, which was awesome! But to be completely honest... I am getting kind of sick of fruit :(. I just can't eat enough meet my calorie requirements. I miss being able to go out and eat food with people. I am just not liking this lifestyle today. If anyone has words of encouragement to help me along, it would be much appreciated.

Congrats on making it to your 16th day.  I find having a big chunky salad at the end of my day with my avocado slices gives me that regular meal sensation of something savory.  What I have found helpful thus fare are a few videos of  Freelee recipe for corn chowder recipe. You may want to try as fresh corn is still in season.  I like Freelee's advice of making a pain and pleasure list of why you doing this program.  Good video.  I am on day 7 and can sympathy that there are some rough patches in trying to override previous habits.  I have gone out to restaurants twice and had a big salad.  Ruby Tuesday mix field greens and all the fresh veggies to pick from as long as you are sticking to that you can have the going out to dinner with friends as still an option.  However I recommend that you only go out with friends who will be supportive of your raw food program.  Good luck.

i agree. i think it is simpler to drop it when mixing in situations where it interferes with other needs and then return to it. like i once read people tried to impress a certain guru by telling him they took a vow of silence for a year and his response was can you just day what's necessary. i think if you want to eat this way there is no reason to be depressed if you drop it occasionally for reason of social needs or norms.
