Hello Everyone!
Well, today is my first day on this website, and I'm very excited to get started!
About a month ago, I picked up the book "Soak Your Nuts" by Karyn Calabrese and immediately started my raw detox. Now, I have been a vegan for a while so going raw really wasn't too much of a challenge for me. Really the only challenge in the past 30 days was all of the supplements I had to take, the 3 day fast, and the lack of alcohol. But now I am done with the cleanse and I can continue my raw food journey!
My goal over the next few years is really to shed all of the extra weight I have and to gain more energy. I would not call myself fat, but I am not very pleased with the shape of my body, and I am very self-concious. I will use this blog as a way to track my journey to better health and a skinnier body!
I am also going to be updating with pictures of my progress. So here is me on day 1!

So here is a rundown of my diet today:
Breakfast:
green smoothie
green juice
Snack:
kelp noodles with cashew dip
Lunch:
Banana Blueberry Icecream (4 frozen bananas and 1 cup blueberries)
4 dates
Dinner:
1 Passion Fruit
3 Fresh Figs
1 cup cherry tomatoes
4 dates
watermelon juice
