Breakfast: 1/2 of a banana, 1 lb. of grapes
Lunch: some cooked food - I kept it vegan and 801010 though!
Snack: 1 cantaloupe, 3 bananas, juice of 1 lemon
Dinner: hubby said he needed a Denny's fix: so I ordered the seasonal fruit plate and the garden salad with lemon wedges as the dressing for myself. Not bad. The fruit plate was about 1/4 cup of red grapes, 4 strawberries and an apple. The salad was iceberg lettuce, red cabbage, cucumber slices, grated carrot, onion slices and grape tomatoes.
Total Calories: 1379
Water: 2 quarts plus
Sleep: 6 hours maybe?
Exercise: 1 hour of FREE yoga! August is Yoga month, apparently. Found out about free classes through meetup.com
Feeling: lots of feelings today! I had some emotions come up in yoga this morning - I felt that I had "emotional poise" to deal with it. Then tonight I felt a bit sad that my hubby wanted to go to Denny's. I make him healthy low fat vegan (cooked) meals. He likes them, but they are not going to taste as good as food from a restaurant such as Denny's because I don't add MSG and fat when I make food at home! So he had to get his "fix". I started getting sad that the world has so many problems and I don't know how to fix them and it is probably impossible to fix them. And I have to live in a meat eating world with a meat eating husband and people in this world can be so antisocial and just mean in general. Sometimes I want to make a difference in the world. I suppose I am by choosing to eat a vegan diet. I just wish the world would be a better place sometimes. I also had some happy feelings. I am happy that when I cheat now, I eat cooked vegan food instead of raw vegan food. That is really great, in my opinion!

Comment by Delight on August 15, 2012 at 6:43am Thanks Rick and banana boy. :) I'm feeling better. I was just in a funk that day I guess. Rick, I had some red bananas once. I just had to let them sit around for literally 1-2 months before they were finally ripe (similar to plantains). After that they were great!!
Comment by banana - boy on August 14, 2012 at 7:28am yeah i have noticed the same with a few of TJ bananas most are awesome but a few ripen poorly and i compost them. I chose to work on myself and not to get to involved in issues of this world where it only serves to depress if something can be done do it if not no good in worrying about it..i agree with rick we can set the example. we can do that. the world in a way does not not rest on our shoulders .....nice post
Comment by Delight on August 12, 2012 at 5:40pm Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention that I got some weird bananas from Trader Joe's. They are not yellow and they are not green. They are sort of brown/ gray. They started to get some spots, so I thought they were ripe, but nope. They were okay, but my mouth could tell they were still starchy. So not optimal.
