So this is my very first post! So exciting :P!
Daily I will try to post a blog about what I ate and how much I exercised and what is going on in general. So here it goes...
I will talk about yesterday and this morning so far. So yesterday I had kind of a crappy day so the eating was sparse. (I won't be able to start the proper diet until I have the money for groceries so for now I'm cutting meat out and then next week I will do dairy) So for breakfast I had a huge glass of water and a banana and then I went for an hour bike ride in our local park (which has a beach and mountain bike trail and a lot of other cool stuff). Then I came home and had a YOP (yogurt drink) because I was starving (if I had groceries I would have made a huge green smoothie for breakfast).
Then it was time to go to a funeral (fun times ... I know). So after blubbering all afternoon it was finally time for the food. I ravaged the fruit and veggi trays and had a full plate (with dip :o bad). When I got home around dinner time I was starving again so I had 2 cups of water and a cob of corn and mashed potato left overs. The last thing I ate for a snack because I was starving again was a granola bar. I went to bed around 11:30. I know that this day was not good but I want to show you where I am starting. I would have been able to do much better if I had money for groceries but I was proud that I didn't have any meat and it felt good.
I can't wait to go grocery shopping! It's going to be hard because I live with other people who eat a standard diet so I want to move. Today I am working on getting a room set up in my grandparents basement apartment so that I can have my own space to do some self reflection.
I have found that since I have been in a relationship I have started to loose a bit of myself everyday. I have slowly stopped doing the things I like and eating the things I like all for him. Well no more! I am moving out :D!
I have started going to bed around 10 or 11 and getting up around 7 or 8 every day and I love it! I am going to try and start doing this as a routine and getting up for a big smoothie or dateorade etc. and a bike ride every day! Today I got up at 7:30 and drank 2 cups of water and had a banana and went for a 40 min bike ride to the same park. When I got home I was starving so I had a nectarine. ...
I can't wait till I have so much fruit in my house that I am always stuffed!!!!
Anyways I will update you tomorrow hopefully. I might also take pics of the park and post them because its reallllly nice there.
