We had meetings at work yesterday and they ordered Chinese. Large trays of egg rolls, rangoon, battered and fried, battered and fried. One lonely tray of steamed veggies sat on the table. I had eaten tons of watermelon throughout the morning so I wasn't famished. I did eat steamed veggies and I was happy. What a difference! I'm transitioning but it feels more like transforming. I've never NOT felt deprived in the face of fried foods before when I was choosing not to partake. This is awesome.
