Can i eat 100% LFRV for a while and then go back to cooked LFV food?

Hi. First let me apologize for spending so little time on the site for a while. It is directly related to the fact that i havent been able to be raw lately. I have been memtored by a person who in their texts have been saying basically that the purer the body gets the less it can cope eith toxins. That if we absorbe a substance that poisons the body well enough in small amounts to begin with, the body adapts and tries to cope but becomes slowly unwell. Sofar i get it. But then they carry on by saying not to do juice feasts because as the body then becomes much purer you become ill when going back to solid raw food. So my problem is this, i am about to embark on 100% LFRV lifestyle which is so drastic that it goes against most popular beliefs as well as my family s diet and lifestyle and pretty much everyone else around. It is a permanent fight to not give in and up. The detox feelings making it even worse,so i want to know. If i manage to do the lifestyle for, lets say, a year at 100% but then i feel likei need to reintroduce some low fat cooked vegan foods, and lets say be 80% raw, will i be able to do that without making myself ill again. As i have diabetes type II if i am going to pull that fight idont want it to be such that if i go back to some cooked food that i would get sick again. As i know i can get rid of the disease and weight and all while i am fully raw but what can happen if i go back to eating some cooked healthy food? Could anyone please share their experience of what happened when they have been raw for quite some timeand reintroduced LFV cooked food to some degree? Or anyone who has some knowledge on this. Thank you so much. :)

Tx so much for sharing your experience with me. I have been scared about this and it is the last thing holding me back so now i can finally go for it. And anyway it is how life is, to just go with the flow and see where it takes you sometimes. So thats what i am going to do. Thank you Ryan.

while i buy my weekly 40 lbs. of organic bananas other various fruits and vegetables, i still will throw in some low fat high carb non-raw food at times, primarily beans and brown rice. i know there's many here who would say to avoid them altogether though. and while i prefer my raw fruits and veggies - they make me feel the best - i find the beans and rice to work out well. i don't notice any negative effects on things like energy, mood, and athletic performance. about the only difference i notice is that i feel the digestion more than i do with the raw food. i choose these foods often when i'm eating out and there's not much else on the menu that works.

and yes, i'd avoid the juice feasts big time; avoid taking in juice without the pulp. instead make smoothies! banana and date smoothies are super popular here. if you have diabetes, you should be fine as it's the effects of having too much fat in the diet rather than too much cooked low fat food that you should be concerned about. read Dr. Neal Barnard's books, in which he shows how eating a low carb vegan diet (doesn't have to be raw) essentially cures diabetes.
