30 Bananas a Day!

I no longer have to stretch my fruit with cooked rice and potatoes.  My parents are fully supporting my banana habit.

They got me about 56 bananas off the reduced rack and 6 regular bananas.

<-- The six regulars can be seen in this photo.  Delmonte!  Plus there are a couple apples over there.

Yay me!  There is such an abundance of fruit here!  I didn't think I could afford it, but of course my parents can afford it.  They prioritize money for food every month.  They choose food over everything, but bills.

My parents are pretty healthy eaters.  Even though they are not raw, they eat mostly vegetarian style.  I love my Mom and Dad.  They have instilled healthy eating habits in me all my life.  Plus, my mom instilled the research bug in me.  Never take what someone says as law.  Look it up!  So, I'm researching 80/10/10 as I have many other diets.

Look at that abundance of fruit over there.  Apples, oranges, pears, and mandarins--->

This is the fruit that is in my house right now.  Right this minute.  I won't be posting fruit from yesterday or from the internet.  This is all in my home.

This is so glorious!  I didn't know how I was going to make this diet happen 100%.  But with this kind of support.  I just can't go wrong!

The potatoes and rice were nice, but I really want to go full throttle.  Not that I'll never eat it again, but I really want to make this change.  I'm really excited to change my life!

I'm 30 years old.  I was ADHD.  280lbs.  Unemployed.  Lots of failed Businesses. Disgusted with Myself.  Down and Out.  Lazy.  Hopeless.  Only 6 days on this lifestyle change and I have taken a two mile power walk. Worked on my business more. Have had clarity of mind. I feel good about myself and positive about life.  I have sooo much energy!  I do not know exactly what the future holds for me, but who does?  I'm excited to take new steps.

There are a couple more areas with fruits in them, but I'll digress with the photos.  There are a bunch of bananas there. --->

We have more mandarins, minneolas, more bananas, more oranges, strawberries, salad, tomatoes, cucumbers, spinach, green peppers, and much, much more!

I am so grateful for all of this support from my family!

My cousin and son are even eating a lot more fruit.  Since they are seeing it around in abundance and seeing me scarf down more and more fruit!

I hope that this fruit abundance lasts forever!  Bye cooked Food!

Mini update on my eating:  I'm eating 80% carbs, but my fat is kind of high.  Dang Avacados.  So, I'm cutting that out of my diet completely.  Two little spoonfuls cause me to go a bit over my 10% of fat according to Cronometer.com.  I'm very low on my protein.  I could probably bulk that up a bit more.  But I'm good!  Love you guys!

How wonderful!

When you eat the potato and rice plain you realise how boring they really are, especially compared to the juicy explosive sweet tastes of fresh fruit :D

Key to staying with this lifestyle is being prepared, always have fruit (especially bananas) in various stages of ripeness, so you are never left without, because then you get hungry and you might slip... and why make life more diffuclt? :)

Thanks Winlord - I am cutting out the overt fats now!  This was my last time.  :)  Yay for supportive parents!  Thanks so much for the Power Walking Cartoon.  I love it!

I can hear the energy in your written word, Lauren!  You're doing awesome!

Praise be to supportive parental units--I've got a couple myself :)

No need to worry about the protein--on this diet it takes care of itself.  811 is actually an average minimum of 80% carb, and an average maximum of 10% fat/ 10% pro.

So in eating a pure fruit/veg, zero overt fat diet (not that this is always necessary on the fat angle, but it's simpler to leave it out if you tend to gobble it up, at least for now) you'll average about 5-6% protein and about 7% fat, give or take a lil.

That's one reason 811 is one of the simplest ways you can eat.

And yes, over time it does get easier too!

@Rebecca - Gratitude beats the entire thing.  Keep being grateful my love.  It will keep your foods in abundance and everything else!

@Kimberry - Thanks Lovie.  This is so good!
