When you really appreciate something that you have that you will take good care of it. Gratitude begins to go beyond just saying thank you and feeling gracious about things.
Gratitude goes so much farther. To be gracious for the body, we here at 30BAD eat the best possible foods, in the best possible combinations, and at the most optimal times.
When we are gracious for some item that we own. We take care of it. We put it on the shelf, hang it up, watch it carefully. When we don't feel thankful or gracious to have it, then it may end up on the floor, trampled underfoot or broken.
So, this morning the thought came to clean up everything and make everything better right here where I am. If I can take care of this home that doesn't look like much to me, then I can take care of the new home that I know I will cherish.
"He who is faithful in little things will also be faithful in much." -Luke 16:10
Remember today to walk in gratitude for your being. Feed your body well. Have gratitude in everything that you do. Treat the most trivial things, like they are the most important things. That is true gratitude in your life. It can begin with the food that you put into your mouth. Allow it to end with each action that you take.
