Okay, I've survived 2 days. Yesterday I was extremely bloated in the morning (before the banana-eating commenced). I couldn't eat anything until around 3:00pm. Then, as I went to the kitchen to make my first banana smoothie, I caught a whiff of pizza and quiche. Oh man, I almost lost it. I had the quickest inner-dialogue of about 100 times of this cycle:
"Should I?"
"I shouldn't
"But I want to"
"No I don't"
(repeat)
I picked up a piece of pizza and just stood there frozen for a minute. Then I put it down... the hardest thing. Then I started laughing hysterically like a crazy person!!! But I felt much stronger-willed after that.
So I made it through the whole day without messing up. My hubby brought me some grapes at the end of the day, but basically I made it through the day on bananas. :)
Today was easy. I didn't feel tempted to cheat at any point, but the bbq chicken at dinner smelled pretty good. I think it was really just the sauce and the spices because I haven't been eating meat for a while now, so chicken wouldn't ordinarily tempt me.
I made myself this ticker before I started to make things more fun.
I woke up exhausted this morning after 9 hours of sleep and I'm exhausted now and it's only 6:30 pm. So I'll get to be early tonight and see how tomorrow goes. Other than that, I just feel content, productive, and calm.
I'm having some major brain fog though. I have a hard time talking to people because I keep forgetting the right words to use. But I'm sure it'll get better.
Ok, update ya later!
Bye!!
