I got burnt out on blogging, but I miss the connection that it helped me to have here at this community. I missed you guys! I plan to try to blog at a more sane level. I would blog every day and be on this site 2-3 hours a day, which was just too much. I have trouble doing things in moderation. LOL!
So what have I been up to while I was gone... pretty much the same stuff. Raising the kids, working at my job, working in the garden a bit (did much less this year due to the early drought), getting some sun, eating vegan, going to OA. I have been trying to build my fitness level back up after I was wiped out by a horrible respiratory infection in the spring. Still walking, hiking, playing Just Dance, with the occasional free weights and push-ups. My eating has been status quo. Still vegan, fairly low fat, fruit for breakfast and lunch, and still eating cooked with salt at my evening meal.
I plan to put a little bit more effort in (blogging helps that) to shift some of these entrenched patterns, because I would just love in my heart of hearts to be a full-on raw food vegan and athlete. But I also am remembering what I said in the first paragraph about moderation and sanity.
