30 Bananas a Day!

I am so appreciative of all the responses I get whenever I have a concern! I am slowly but surely working on my relationship with my husband. I am mostly focusing on carbing up and being a good partner. That is all I can do right now!

I had a hard time sticking to the diet last week because we are changing everything up in the home. We had no kitchen sink, so I couldn't wash my foods, or spread out my blender/juicer. Then I got sick, with nausea/diarrhea for several days which I am thinking may have been a detox process. Everyone else was totally normal.

Anyways, I am back again! Really focusing on getting in 2500 to 3000 calories. I feel perfect on about 2700 calories per day. While sick I read the Kind Diet (vegan diet) by Alicia Silverstone, and I liked the book a lot. I found some recipes to try for my family --- and certainly if I want a cooked meal every now and then.

Here is what I did today:

Bananas w/carob sauce

Strawberry-banana-date smoothie

Apple

Romaine dipped in guac (1 avocado, fresh cilantro, cherry tomatoes and lemon juice)

Three roasted red skin potatoes

2621 calories 83/5.2/11.8

Exercise: 25 minutes on the stair climber, strength training (hamstring curls/squats and calf raises)

Oh my goodness... kitchen renovations and heavy detox.  Yikes!  Glad you are feeling better now.
