30 Bananas a Day!

Applying for a job as a health and wellness coach, help me

I found this ad on craigslist for a job I want, read it first: http://capecod.craigslist.org/spa/3269613950.html

Tell me if you think it's a scam or anything, I wrote a resume already as you can see below, tell me what you think

I can do this job

I have had a huge amount of fun getting myself on a vegan diet for 3 months now. I talk to lots of other people already and give them advice on how to succeed on it.

I'm really into getting fit, I'm working towards doing triathlons and ultramarathons someday myself. I bike or run everywhere, I never drive. Great for my health and mood.

Have you ever heard of a high carb raw vegan lifestyle? I eat around 5000 calories a day of raw fruits and veggies, have tons of energy and have lost weight. I feel 100% positive I have found the lifestyle that any person can be happy and healthy on. My diet is based around the teachings of Dr. Doug Graham. Here's his YouTube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/FoodnSport. His book 80/10/10 is the most amazing book about diet I have ever read.

It feels like such a relief in your mood and the control you feel over yourself when you cut out as many toxins as possible, all the toxins like hormones in animal products, pesticides, high fats, salt, burnt food. And start getting lots of clean water instead of drinking processed drinks. Lots of sleep, early nights, get up when you feel you have had enough. And lots of fun exercise.

I love talking on the forum 30bananasaday.com , seen some really great results in people talking there, everyone gets along extremely well and the best part is there are lots of people that have been on a lifestyle like this for decades and are completely happy with it, they all say there's no way they would go back to a regular western diet.

You say I can do this from anywhere? I'm trying to move to Hawaii, when I get there I will continue to do everything I can to be happy and healthy and share the things I learn with others. I will begin training for endurance events when I get there, what better place than Hawaii, clear waters for swimming, volcano's to ride my bike up, challenging trails for running on. The Ironman Triathlon is held in Kona annually, lots of people train all over the islands and know how to get fit and stay that way. Would love to share the things I learn there with people around the world.

This job sounds perfect for me

David

most any job is a good idea. keep in mind it is only a stepping stone.

you could help someone driving  a cab by your presence of health.

i have found one job has lead to another ALWAYS and always offers something to learn

often for me it was lesson of humility

do any job man its ok your life is its purpose and it will take its course if you start it

any thing you do from health will lead to success carb up do any job as stepping stone

this is my experience i never knew what i wanted to do in life and everyone kept asking what do you want be or do referring to a career

still do not know   just do what is front of you  then it leads to another

all the best !

The video drsalka linked shows that it could be used as a stepping stone for people, not a total use of them for their money.

Supplements aren't the worst thing to sell, might teach me something about peoples weaknesses for these things and how to teach them to avoid them. Teaching this to the people on these calls would ruin the sale and not get me my commission or might get me fired, so the lessons learned might need to be saved for later.

Driving a cab might be more harmful to the world then that, driving a gas guzzler to get some sedentary person from one place to another, or as a cashier for some store that sells junk, or the many other typical jobs I can see available.

Thought about replying to ads for disabled people looking to be taken care of, they might want to learn from me about this lifestyle and make a change, maybe they will pay me extra if they really like me? But what about my phobia of moving bedpans around?

I have no excitement right now, need something to do and make some cash.

@ Lisa Dee I've been wanting to do that, I know a youtube channel can take a long time to start getting enough views to make significant cash, if I shoot some really attention grabbing videos and keep posting tons of them on my channel then it could possibly generate cash soon.

Problem is I don't even have enough cash for the camera at the moment, but I could sell some stuff to get it. I could grab some random depressing job out of the paper but I'm afraid that would sap my enthusiasm for shooting good videos.

Need something that makes me realize things about the world. I thought coaching might teach me things I need to know in order to know what I can shoot videos of.

@drsalka

I wrote the resume anyway but didn't send it yet out of fear of this. Thanks

I don't know about the authenticity of the ad, but your resume is very lively and you managed to convey a great deal of positivity and enthusiasm - well done.

Perhaps consider filming youtubes and having a channel and documenting your journey to health and your move to Hawaii.  You can film using a remarkably cheap camera - my Canon is priced at 100 bucks and takes resonably good video.  By doing so, you can get the word out, get connections, and get an audience.

I'd rather find something like this where people don't sell supplements but charge clients a fee for advice, where can I find something like that? I'm broke and lost right now

Probably have to put up with whatever system they want me to teach though, maybe they just want brainless drones?
