30 Bananas a Day!

I read a news story today about a lady in Denmark who has decided to complete one(1) entire marathon a day for a full year. Her decision is a spiteful reaction to her recent, unfortunate diagnosis of sclerosis.

The story was relatively short, thus lacking a few details, but I assume that she is already an avid runner, and I certainly hope that she has already completed a marathon at least once in her life before. I get that she wants to maximize her physical activity, but full marathon? She is going to complete 366 marathons in 365 days! I can't figure out if that's healthy or not. I know running is excellent exercise, but if you're not cautious and mindful about it, you could hurt your back and damage your knees and such. Friends of mine are on an athletics team and often talk about how they prepare for big event's by training in smaller increments, so to preserve their physique and stamina and such.

Anyway, does anyone have any input in this matter. It is most welcome.
