A JUICE FEASTING JOURNEY CLEANSE TOWARDS AN OPTIMAL DIET: 80/10/10

I was kicked off SparkPeople.com yesterday after discussing the subject of low fat raw veganism on a raw food team.  There are people on that site that are histerically controlling and misinformed about raw food eating.  High fat and high sodium with dehydrated foods is the formula for continuation of a healthy SAD program.  I came to this site to continue my successful journey back to optimal health.  Many of my friends from Spark have emailed me wanting to follow my journey.  This blog is a continuation on my 92 day juice feast.  This is a report on Day 78.  I know that 80/10/10 does not advocate juicing.  My doctor/friend/mentor who is monitoring me daily agreed to allow me to cleanse in this fashion after realizing I wouldn't be able to do a water fast at this time in my life.  I plan that for my next detox.  So, please understand that I do indeed value your support during the last few weeks of this adventure towards increased health.  I also realize that water fasting is THE best way to cleanse.

On to my blog:

DAY 78 OF MY 92 DAY JUICE FEAST JOURNEY --- STANDING MY GROUND NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS!!

Part of the cleansing on this feast was the cleansing of fear.  This is a must-do on the path of whole life healing which is what I advocate, teach, and train my clients to reach for.  It isn't just about food.  It isn't just about the body.  It is about every facet of your life.  Not eating food puts you in a more open and receptive position to not only listen to others but to listen to your inner self.  My inner self is a teacher first of all.  I must have people to teach and that is where blogging comes into the picture.  It gets my juices flowing and hopefully sharing my journey helps others to have the courage to either start or continue their own.

Unfortunately we all have personal demons that we have tucked away that still play tunes on our persons.  They stop us from being all we wish to be from our heart.  It says "Don't go there, don't do that, don't say that, dont' be open..blah blah blah ad infinitum!  And, when we are toxic with chemicals and additives and high on refined sugar, caffeine, RX's, street drugs, cigarettes, salt, fat, and sleep deprived we follow that voice of doom and gloom.  We slowly over time become part of the walking dead that society is filled with.  We also become programmed sheep.  We are addicted half to death to substances in our phood supply.  We aren't even our true selves and we operate fooling ourselves that WE are in control!  That idea is totally laughable.

Cleansing is coming out of all of this.  It is clearing the mind fog that has plagued us for years.  It is truly becoming a whole person full of life and vitality and joy.  It is easily seeing solutions to problems that plagued us for months on end.  This is only part of the reason that a detox is necessary above all the bodily healing that takes place.  It is well worth the time, the effort, the investment of monies and self that are required.

Before starting a cleanse it is imperative that you get home-front and on-line support both.  Then you start where you are and make weekly changes to your current eating program moving towards low fat raw vegan. Then and only then do you start a juice feast with the proper education and knowledge base.  After you complete at least a 45 day cleanse, and I guide my clients to a 60 day cleanse minimum!, then you transition properly back to eating solids.  Then hopefully you continue on with eating a HEALTHY raw program that is high in fruit carb calories and low in fat and protein caloric percentages.  This is the optimal diet for excellent health.

I have 14 more days on this journey.  I am blessed to have a site such as 30BAD to continue it.  I am looking forward to my 100 days of 80/10/10 and sharing my journey with my friends from Spark and to my new family here.

AK:  First you have to clean up your diet to the point of LFRV/HC.  Then totally prepare yourself.  I'm sorry you only got to 5 days but I bet those 5 days were a trip! LOL  I am a much stronger person in mind and body because of this journey.  I can hardly wait until I have completed this chapter to excellent health and on the 80/10/10 program solid.

Thanks for your comment.  Also, good for you on leaving that guru!
