Lately I've seen some of Freelee's videos and saw just how simple eating can be and I thought I'd give it a shot for the next 30 days, conditionally.
My not so by-the(unread)-book plan consist of eating:
All the raw bananas I can eat!
All the raw fruit and veg I can eat!
Vegan for the next 30 days
Cooked veggies as inspired
Limited soaked and dried nuts
I've been eating so many bananas a day that I can't even keep track.I do try to eat 80% of my food fruit.
Also eating apples, smoothies, even datoraid (OMG! Yumm!), and I even tried just a banana smoothie yesterday which I found very good also (and cinnamon!).
I've also had Cafe Yumm (very close to the plan) 5-6 times or so,
Coffee (and when out, with soymilk and raw sugar)
Braggs Liquid Aminoes & Sesame Ginger salad dressing
I've lost 5.3 lbs as of this morning (which I'd dropped most of the first week). This doesn't sound like much but it's amazing how much my body is changing! I'm back into my size 4 from a 6-8 and no longer look pregnant (little budda mamma is what I affectionately called myself)!
It's pretty clear why there has been so little weight loss but really, just the fact that what I'm doing is doable! I've hardly exercised either.
I cook 3 meals everyday for four people that I care for but I fill myself first on fruit or smoothie and there is no feeling that I'm missing out on anything! I love this!
My eating has been out of control with my weakness being pizzas or omelets (animal products)...and there I'd go. I think the fact that I'm doing a 30 day VEGAN challenge at the same time makes this so much easier.
The way I became a vegetarian again a few years back was commiting to do it for just 30 days, afterwards it was a commitment that I'd had enough practice with that I could stick to it. I'd like to do the same for all animal products after this 30 days is over with.
During the holidays I grew out of my size 4 pants and into size 8s! 132-137 lbs, up to almost 147.
This morning I weighed 138.4 and I'm back into my size 4 pants. I haven't been getting much sleep yet have plenty of energy, and a fried told me this evening that my skin looks more velvety... I couldn't be happier!
