I'm moving my daily check-in here, as I really didn't want to share this challenge with my Fb community just yet.
So here are my posts starting from Sunday, June 24th, 2012:
Hey! Lisa from the Bay Area, California, checking in Sunday night. Looking forward to getting out of the wading pool and jumping in to the deep end of HCRV lifestyle. Thanks for the inspiration, Freelee! Let the magic begin!
Monday, June 25th: Day 1
B: 1/2 of a 5 Banana/6 mango smoothie;
L: 2nd 1/2 of Smoothie;
D: Head of Romaine, 1 cup tomatoes, 1 cucumber, 1 avocado.
Snacks-2 cup grapes, 2 red bell peppers, 3 celery stalks, 1/8 cup fresh coconut meat, 1/2 cantaloupe.
Exercise: 20min jog, 10min stair master, weights-legs/lunges. Water: 5x8oz cups and counting.
Sleep: deprived - 4 hours due to restless left leg/hip.
Feeling: Contemplative - I've juice fasted and prayed/meditated for 1 week about 2 months ago and reaped a lot from that experience; AND Optimistic - hoping to set in motion healthier habits for optimal lifestyle.
Tuesday, June 26th: Day 2
B: 1 Banana + 4 Banana+1/2 Pineapple + 4 Orange smoothie
L: Head of Romaine, 1 cup tomatoes, 1 cucumber, 1 avocado salad, 2 stalks celery
D: 1/2 cantaloupe, 1 cup grapes, 1 cup strawberry salad
Snacks: 3 bananas, 1 cup tomato grapes, 1 cup grapes, 1/8 cup fresh coconut meat,
Exercise: 30 min cardio, run/walk/stairmaster; stretching; Yamuna ball rolling class 90minute.
Water: 5x8oz cups and counting
Sleep: 5-6 hours.
Feeling: Tired/Headachy. Going to aim for 9:30 bed time. I get up at 4:20am to work out and have been trying back my bed time, but with kids on Summer break, it's been hard.
Wednesday, June 27th: Day 3
B: Small Bowl of Cantaloupe, grapes, blueberries and strawberries.
L: 2 bananas
D: 1/2 plate of salad: romaine, 1/4 cup avocado, 1/4 cup tomato, 1/8 cup cucumbers, and 1/8cup orange juice dressing + 1/2 plate of fruit salad: cantaloupe, grapes, blueberries, strawberries, pineapple.
Snacks: none
Exercise: none
Water:not enough.
Sleep: 8 hours
Feeling: Woke up feeling under the weather, loss of appetite, low grade fever, basically blah! Took it kind of easy and did house work, ran kids around and had a really healthy feeling dinner. Going to get some real sleep again tonight.
Thursday, June 28th: Day 4
B: 5 Banana + 1/2 pineapple + 2 cup water smoothie
L: 4 Celery sticks + 2 bananas
D: Romaine/tomato/avocado salad + 3 bananas
Snacks: 2 cups cherries,
Exercise: None- but did do 3.5 hours of deep tissue massage on 2 clients - considered weight lifting?
Water: 40 oz and counting
Sleep: 5 hours ... darn restless leg and hip!
Feeling: Still a little under the weather, with low appetite, no headache, but tired. Planning to get to bed by 9:30 w/a 4:20 wake up to work out tomorrow.
Friday, June 29th: Day 5
B: 5 Banana + 3 Cups Strawberry + 10 date smoothie
L: 4 celery sticks + 1 avocado
D: Huge 1 1/2 heads of lettuce salad w/ tomatoes, zucchini, red bells, celery and 1 juice of orange salad
Snacks: 3 apricots, 2 cups cherries, 2 bananas
Exercise: Cleaned house, laundry
Water: 30 oz and counting
Sleep: 8 hours
Feeling: still low appetite, overall good. Caffeine withdrawal headaches gone.
Saturday, June 30th: Day 6
B: 5 Banana + 2 Cup Strawberry + 10 Date Smoothie + 3 cups water
L: 3 Bananas + 1 Cup Grapes + 3 Cups fruit salad: Cantaloupe/Honeydew/Strawberry/Grape
D: 1/2 Corn on the cob (bleh!) + 2 Cups Fruit salad + 1 head of Romaine/1 Avocado/1/2 Tomatoe Salad
Snacks: 1 Orange , 2 Heirloom tomatoes, 5 basil leaves - Layered
Exercise: 1/2 Hour run/walk + 1/2 hour stretching + 1.5 Hour client massage (weights?) + 1 hour cleaning house.
Water: 40 oz and counting.
Sleep: 7 hours
Feeling: Overall feeling pretty good. A little stressed with MIL in town today, and hosting a pack of family. Trying to avoid addictive eating behaviors.
Sunday, July 1st: Day 7
B: 5 Banana + 3/4 PIneapple + 10 Date + 3 cups of water smoothie
L: Giant salad of Greens + cucumbers + Tomatoes + Lemons and a large Tomatoe juice
D: 3 cups of cherries + 2 bananas + 1 avocado
Snacks: Cherries, Grapes
Exercise: 30mins cardio run/walk + 10 mins rowing + 10 mins leg weights + Stretching
Water: 30 oz
Sleep: 6 hours
Feeling: stressed with in law situation, but holding strong and not stress eating.
Monday, July 2nd: Day 8
B: 4 cup Spinach + 3 cup pineapple + 7 date + 2 cup strawberry Smoothie drank through
L: 3 stalks celery, 1 orange, 1 oz coconut meat, 1 cup blueberries
D: I head Romaine +1 avocado + 1 cup tomato + 1 Medium apple
Snacks: cherries and grapes
Exercise: 25 mins run/walk combo + 8 minutes Rowing machine + 10 mins stretching + 4 Hours deep tissue massage for clients - weights?
Water: 30 oz (need to up this!)
Sleep: 6 hours
Feeling: well, still stressed with MIL situation, but overall pretty good!
Tuesday, July 3rd: Day 9
B: 5 Bananas + 1 Orange + 5 Date Smoothie
L: 1 Avocado + 4 Celery Stalks + 4 Bananas
D: 1 Head Romaine + 1 Cup Tomato + 1 Medium Apple
Snacks: Cherries and Grapes
Exercise: Yamuna Ball Rolling,
Water: 40 oz
Sleep: 6 hours
Feeling:
Wednesday, July 4th: Day 10
B: 3/4 head Romaine + 5 Banana + 7 Date smoothie
L: Huge Fruit salad w/Cantaloupe, grapes, strawberries, and apple
D: 1 head Romaine + cucumbers + 1 tomato salad
Snacks:
Exercise: 20 minute-walk/run + 15 minute Crossfit elliptical + 10 minute rowing machine
Water: 40 oz
Sleep: 6 hours
Feeling: ok Freedom ain't free!
Thursday, July 5th: Day 11
B: 5 Bananas and 1/3 of a 1 pineapple/10 date/1 head of romaine smoothie
