Good evening,
TODAY'S PLEASURES
- Today was just a perfect one! First this morning my son and I went to a park to meet my best friend and her family. The kids played, the adults chatted, everybody laughed. AND it was sunny!
- This afternoon, I met the vegan doctor whose name I came across on the Internet. It was very interesting and he confirmed everything I was convinced of. I must write the account of what he told me because I think it could be interesting to everybody here. It was really nice to talk with someone so professional and so knowlegeable. He was unbiased too in spite of his ideas. He also said so when he wasn't sure about an answer.
- Tonight I had a great conversation with Hubby about our future move. I've finally agreed to move a few months ago because he wants an eco-friendly home. I do too but I was VERY reluctant to leave our current house, and especially Paris. But it's finally getting easier and easier to deal with the thought, especially if I keep on working in Paris. I could get my regular 'dose' of Parisian 'fresh' air!
This means we could also have a house instead of a flat. We could grow our own food, which would be brilliant... if my mint was not already dying! What am I doing wrong??? Anyway, we came to the conclusion that Hubby and I would share tasks: he would take care of the garden and I would... complain, as usual (I'm very French!). :p
FOOD
I had lots of Deglet Noor dates today as I was a bit short of bananas - they're still quite green.
- protein: 62g = 9.5%
- fat: 21.8g = 9.1%
- carbs: 471g = 81.5%
SLEEP
I slept a lot last night, going to bed early and finding it hard to get up at 8:30. And tonight I'm a bit excited about my day so I'll have a long stretching session so that I wind down.
REVIEW
Overall, I think I'm doing fine and I love this lifestyle. I just need to find better produce because the oranges, apples and tomatoes I got are flavourless at best. Other than that, my body and my ideas finally agree and it's a great feeling.
This 'experiment' is going to end in 5 days (already?!) but of course I'll keep on living this way. I'll stop blogging about it, though. I know this blog is being read even if you don't often comment, which I don't mind so thank you so much for devoting some of your time to me. Very flattering!
I wish you a very good night! See you soon!
