I´ve been a vegetarian for 5 years and I´ve finally decided to take the next step; veganism. Most of what I eat is RAW so you could say I am on a HCRV diet already. I haven´t gotten to the point of counting my calories or eating so much fruit I could maybe pop... but I´m well on my way to getting there I suppose. My goals are to remain vegan... to not be tempted by the cheese on the table or the hearty ice cream sitting in the fridge. I know with time these cravings, just like the meat ones I had so long ago, will fade away. Just like I can sit next to a pig on a platter, I will be perfectly content with having an array of cheeses in front of me and be okay with not touching it. So basically, my goal for 2012 is to keep this mindset, to remember that it is the healthiest path you can take your diet, and the most natural. There´s nothing better than knowing that all you consume are fruits, veggies and seeds. It´s a thrilling thing, really, and it´s becoming my life. I haven´t felt this excited about something since I became a vegetarian. So with that, my aim is to stay vegan and to keep healthy, and to keep exercising as much as I do (everyday). I hope this helps other´s as much as it has helped me getting it down.
