I have my first 1/2 marathon coming up next weekend! (OC 1/2 marathon)
I've been off and on HCRV since August ish 2011, with my first 30 day raw challenge in October. Since then I have struggled maintaining a completely raw diet, but I'm okay with the lengthy transition. I've noticed that with my 1/2 marathon coming up it's been a lot easier to eat raw since I have a goal that will actually benefit from this. Running is easier, recovery is quicker, I sleep better, I breath better, and all around feel better when I eat HCRV when I'm in training mode (and in general). This mentality is encouraging me to set more goals :)
