30 Bananas a Day!

How should I put this?

After my first miserably failed attempt at a raw food lifestyle, I became extremely skeptical. There was a point in time when I thought DurianRider and Freelee were complete trolls out there trying to trick everyone into eating a ton of fruit with the excuse "fruit doesn't make you fat" while secretly laughing behind their laptops at how absolutely foolish we were to fall into their traps. Occasionally I do feel like that still crosses my mind, I'm not going to lie. But I decided to be a fool and trust everyone and try again. I mean, I didn't do it correctly the first time anyway. Might as well go for it one more time. Maybe because behind all that doubt, all of that pain, behind my ED history, in the very back of my mind I know you guys are right. And sometimes I call all of you bastards for it.

So let me tell you about this week. Until today, I hadn't exercised since Sunday. I've been almost literally bed ridden all day Monday, all day Tuesday, all day Wednesday. Doing what? Studying. Surfing the internet. Blogging. It happens. However I've been eating as much food as I care for. Not 100 percent raw. Nope. But eating way more than I would have ever previously let myself eat. Yesterday I got a craving for sushi, and cooked about a kilo of rice and made sushi with pickled rashish and seasoned burdock root. I ate all of it as a meal. A meal of 1500 calories. I only looked up the calories now to write it down, because if I had looked it up before I would have probably purged. The night before that, I also went out for sushi and after making the sushi myself I estimate that I ate around 1000 calories in rice in that meal.

Yes. I still thought that rice was fattening. It's one of the things I ate when I tried transitioning for the first time. However I cooked it in a stock and added a little oil to it in the cooking process. And I ate other things....

So you have to understand how I am so surprised. I weigh myself twice at the gym. Before my workout. After my workout.

So on sunday before my workout I weight 154.8lbs. After my workout I weighed 152.4.

Today, after I completely stopped calorie restricting, eating as many carbs as I care for, somewhat in line with 811 (not enough greens, a little too much fat, not enough cals, but hey I'm transitioning) for 3 days of doing absolutely NOTHING.

Before my workout 152.6 (it's never been this low before a workout). After my workout 151.0.

Say what? I've been eating so much more than I was previously, so much sugar and doing nothing but sitting on my butt and I STILL LOST WEIGHT?

I mean, I'm still skeptical slightly. I have to see consistent results.

But so far it looks like you guys weren't lying.

@Christian, I know most of it is water weight. I also take into account of I am exercising on an empty stomach or not. I weigh myself fairly often so I understand fluctuations.

good on you, but watch the weight loss after exercise i will most probably due to you being dehydrated   I am no expert but you cant burn kilos in an hour or two weight will come off but not that fast. Drink up and keep it up.

Good for you Riela. We're definitely not lying ;).
