"I'm sure I would love the whole wheat pasta but my stomach doesn't like grains and I'd be in so much pain..."
"It's because of a bunch of medical issues, but I kind of get embarrassed telling people about it since then they can't feed me. That's why I said I'd eat it before... "
"For the time being, I only eat fruit... and stupid me didn't bring any"
"I hate being an inconvenience but it's hard when people are making food for me and I don't know how to tell them what I can and can't eat"
Some ideas XD good luck

Comment by Emmie on July 19, 2012 at 1:05am I agree with Kimberry !
You're probably needing more fruits if you crave the bagel !!!
Comment by Kimberry on July 18, 2012 at 2:44pm Personally, I've allowed myself to have the things I craved (not every day, but a couple times a month), and in doing so realize it wasn't worth eating. It would have such negative effects on me immediately or the next day, and if I repeatedly did it, I was repeatedly reminded. Eventually, it wouldn't taste as good as I remembered. Even more eventually, I would no longer crave it.
Focus on fruit, and if you want a bagel once in a while that's up to you. It definitely wouldn't make you feel optimal - are you willing to sacrifice minutes of taste for a day or two of illness? No judgement, it's a fair trade. Once you give in a few times, I think you'll find you don't want it as much. :)
Comment by Lala M. Apples on July 18, 2012 at 12:42pm I don't think having a bagel once a month will kill you (I'm assuming it is vegan). You will likely actually lose a taste for it after being on this lifestyle for a long time. Be kind to yourself.
