30 Bananas a Day!

I was so sad to have missed Freelee's 30 day vegan challenge by mere days so I am starting my own.

July 9th- Day 1

August8th- Day 30

 I feel so passionately about this way of life that the number 30 is almost unnecessary but life is a journey and this is my first step.  I'll use this post to share all my meal photos and exercise stats and I'd love any tips to improve upon my thriving regime.

Day 1

July 9th

Breakfast-

1000 calories

9 bananas/6 date smoothie

(couldn't quite finish it)

Lunch-

850 calories

24 small plums

10 dates

Dinner-

540 calories

2 yellow melons

1 Nectarine 

Salad- 2 medium tomatoes, 1 large yellow pepper, 1 red pepper, big bag mixed greens, lemon juice

2390 Calories

Water 3 1/2 liters

Sleep 7 hours

Exercise: 50 minute bike ride

Feelings:  First day with no coffee, headache, really positive

Day 2

July 10th

Breakfast-

800 calories

8 bananas

(couldn't quite finish it)

Lunch-

1080 calories

7 nectarines 

20 dates

1 grapefruit

Dinner-

460 calories

2 yellow melons

Salad- 2 medium tomatoes, 1 large yellow pepper, 1 red pepper, big bag mixed greens, lemon juice

2340 Calories

Water 4 liters

Sleep 10 hours

Exercise: 50 minute bike ride

Feelings:  Coffee headache, feel light on my toes, not missing breakfast cereal

Day 3

July 11th

Breakfast-

700 calories

8 bananas

Cup of berries

(gave a glass to my boyfriend)

Lunch-

950 calories

1 nectarines 

20 dates

19 apricots

Dinner-

580 calories

2 yellow melons

Salad- 2 medium tomatoes, 1 large yellow pepper,  big bag mixed greens, 2 oranges

2230 Calories

Water 3.5 liters

Sleep 7 hours

Exercise: 35 minutes strength training

Feelings:  Coffee headache is nearly gone, feeling rather sleepy though, the 30bad boards are keeping me motivated, coffee is a bitch, never again

Day 4 (a bit behind)

July 12th

Breakfast-

850 calories

8 bananas

Cup of berries

Lunch-

1080

15 dates

12 kiwis (seriously burned my mouth)

2 oranges

Dinner-

500 calories

1 large yellow melon

Salad- 2 medium tomatoes,  big bag mixed greens, 1 orange, 1 nectarine 

2430 Calories

Water 4 liters

Sleep 9 hours

Exercise: 30 minutes strength training

Feelings:  Got bad news, boyfriend needs surgery, still really positive, need to find a way to convince him to join me in the 811 lifestyle

Day 5

July 13th

Breakfast-

850 calories

8 bananas

Cup of berries

Lunch-

780 calories

20 dates

4 nectarines

Dinner-

865 calories

6 tangerines

5 small yellow melons

Salad- 2 medium tomatoes, 1  yellow pepper,  1 red pepper, big bag mixed greens, 1 oranges

2495 Calories

Water 3.5 liters

Sleep 9 hours

Exercise: none

Feelings:  Really happy, trying to convince boyfriend to come along in this new spectrum of health, need to exercise

Day 6

July 14th

Breakfast-

850 calories

8 bananas

Cup of berries

Lunch-

800 calories

20 dates

4 small bananas

Dinner-

950 calories

23 clementines 

4 nectarines

2600 Calories

Water 3.5 liters

Sleep Terrible, maybe 5 hours, slept on the hospital room floor

Exercise: walking 30 minutes

Feelings:  NEED MORE EXERCISE

Day 7

July 15th

Breakfast-

500 calories

1/2 watermelon

Lunch-

500 calories

1/2 watermelon

Dinner-

550

2 yellow melons

1 nectarine 

Salad- 2 medium tomatoes, 1  yellow pepper,  1 red pepper, big bag mixed greens, 1 oranges

Calories 1550

Water 2 liters (I never drink enough on Sundays

Sleep 9 hours

Exercise: 25 minute jog

Feelings: Getting that running in motion, making the commitment to strength training M,W,F morning before work

Sleep 7  hours

Exercise: Walked 30 minutes

Feelings: Felt a bit disheartened,  really missing tobasco sauce.

Sleep 7 1/2 hours

Exercise: 30 minutes strength training

Feelings: First day or my commitment to lift 3 days a week and it was great, felt really energized all day, drank SO MUCH WATER
