I went from 109, to 115, to now 124 lbs. I've been doing 100% 80/10/10!
Would 2,000 calories not be enough or something? Drink more water? I drink 3 liters a day.
But I refuse to give up just because of that... the mentality its given me is worth it. But the weight is frustrating! I'm making a goal to exercise a lot more over the summer and trying to get fit! Lifting weights and running for 20 minutes everyday, and 10 in the morning. +30 minutes of a cardio machine at the gym (still not allowed out doors, sadly).
I just feel so mad at my weight, though. :/ I hope I can shed some fat over the summer!
Current measurements are 31 around the navel, 23 around top of the thigh... trying to get to at least 27 navel, and 20 on the thighs. :)

Personally, I'm 6'1" and was 140lbs when I started this. I have gained weight. I stopped weighing myself. I'm giving this an honest 2 year trial. After 2 years I will judge my progress; that is my timetable.

Comment by Ayllx Kalen on June 9, 2012 at 11:31pm I beliebe mines about 1,700. I'll try 2,500! And my BMR+ exercise. I always try to keep bananas and dates in, rarely any overt fats. Sense it's summer now, it's the perfect time to try it all out! Thanks again! :)
Comment by ORGANIC811LFRV on June 9, 2012 at 11:18pm Alyx what helped me was to find my Basal Metabolic Rate. This is free on the net to get daily. Mine is 1800ish so I think yours would be about the same. Add in caloric use for moving around doing normal functioning and then add your calories from your exercise. You'll see what we mean about NOT calorie restriction. My calories daily should be 2500 plus without working out additionally to my normal physical job and activities during the day. Shoot for that amount. Use bananas and dates to up the calories and watch the overt fats. The more you eat of nuts and seeds and avocados the more calories from fruit you'll need to eat to keep in the 80/10/10 structure.
Comment by Ayllx Kalen on June 9, 2012 at 11:08pm I'm 5'3", not restricting calories. I can totally try for more! Thank you for the calorie advice!
I usually use cronometer, probably just till I make sure I atleast hit 2,000. I guess I'll have it on more! :)
Thanks for the advice! I'll use it all. :)
Comment by ORGANIC811LFRV on June 9, 2012 at 11:01pm Girlfriend, you aren't eating near enough to support your activity. Are you trying to diet??? This is not a caloric restrictive site. We want you to be healthy and fit but most importantly we want you to thrive! How tall are you??????
Those measurements are on the lean side. I am 5'2" tall, weigh a great 110 lbs. I physically work 6 to 8 hrs per day and I am thriving on 2300 to 2700 calories a day on 80/10/10.
CARB UP!!
I hope you are tracking using Cron-o-meter set for 80/10/10 with weight being weight management.
Also, when you hydrate at your thin build, you will gain water weight. The more you eat in the way of calories and carbs the more your weight will stabilize perfectly. Please drop the weight watching mentality. It isn't great for someone who is already slender like yourself. Put your focus on HEALTH and VITALITY.
Comment by Ayllx Kalen on June 9, 2012 at 10:41pm I'm 5'3" 125 lbs.
I was transitioning for about a year (mostly complications with parents accepting such a different diet for a kid, all I had other wise was beans they wanted me to eat) and fully sense November.
Comment by Karen on June 9, 2012 at 2:16pm How tall are you? Why do you need to lose weight?
Sagar Naga replied to Ashley DeHeer's discussion Why does my b12 supplement make me more tired?
