my skin is getting worse again, i have PCOS and when ever i try to go HCRV it gets bad. i try to ignore it and get past it by staying long term, but it's hard. anyone had a similar experience and won? i know it sounds self involved but it is really not fun. i know it makes sense with the literature, i am just not getting the results that some people on here get. i promised myself 1 full month to begin with. any advice welcome!

going to bed, hope it's good tonight.

Im on the same boat as you with acne and PCOS, have been trying 811 for 7 months now and sometimes gets better and them comes back its very frustrating. Have u checked your Vitamin D levels? I feel it helps a little when I sunbathed.

I don't earn that little an amount, the most I can doing something that I am. unfortunately i still have to pay rent etc like the rest of us. earning more money isn't always a very practical solution i'm afraid. i think that i may have to include cooked carbs in my diet if i'm to get enough cals. anyway my best is going to have to be good enough beecause it's all i can do.

Jasmine, I do fully believe in the philosophy: If there is a will there is a way.  What I mean is open your mind to the possibility that you will find a way to afford what you need on this program.  I'm hoping that you find that way.  Perhaps a better paying job.  Do your best as I think you are right now.  Whatever you do stay away from the crap phakephood.  It just makes you sicker.

yes i've read it a couple of times. i have been on and off thi diet for a few years now. i try to get enough but to be honest it is really hard to afford it sometimes and that is the reason why i fall off. i just can't buy enough. especially greens, they can be very expensive and organic is completely unobtainable for me. i simply don't earn enough.

i can't ride to work at the moment as it's too far, i have just joined my local gym, it's just that it isn't open on wknds and it's been pouring with rain for days now, non stop. I will be going after work 10hr day or not! ;)

the tricky thing with my PCOS is that it has nothing to do with my weight, which is how a lot of women cure it so easily with this diet as they lose weight and voila they get their period.

i will get in as much greenage as i can afford and just keep on truckn'.

thanks for the advice! appreciated.

If I don't eat enough calories from fruit and get some greens I don't sleep as well, so maybe try upping your intake. Also, you could try drinking more water and getting your sweat on to help your skin! I know after working 10hrs it's the last thing you wanna do. Any chance you could ride to and from work?
Keep smiling sunshine, the whole world is at your feet :)

I would have to agree...whenever transitioning to a new and healthier program, things like this can happen. I think you will need to tough it out, bc in the end you will be better off. You will likely need to commit longer than a month to this goal. Just think about how long you were eating the SAD diet (vegan vegetarian or whatever you were doing before this) it is going to take awhile for things to clear out. Good luck!

1 lb of greens per day is required for optimal health.  Are you measuring/weighing your food?  Are you tracking your intake to determine calories/80/10/10 parameters?  Don't fly blind!  These are a must!

PCOS and any other physical symptom is detox from the poor diet prior to 811rv.  It isn't BECAUSE of this healthy eating program.  Your body needs to clean itself up and move things out.  SLEEP!  8 hrs minimum per night.

Did you read 80/10/10 yet?  Do so asap if you haven't.
