Getting some help from my dear husband in my garden

Getting a lot done in my garden!

Beautiful and delicious red leaf lettuce--this variety is a keeper

Detox

Sore throat during the night

Stiff and sore hands and feet on awakening

White coating on my tongue

Swollen, dark under-eye circles in the morning

Some gas

Difficulty eliminating yesterday's beans and fat

Minor redness and bumpiness on forehead, nose and chin--actually looks a little clearer with regular sun exposure and drinking lots of water

More sunburn--I tried to be careful, but...

Stress level

Low

Daily Thoughts

My husband was extra supportive today, which was much appreciated.  I perked up with getting lots of time in my garden and wasn't in as much of a funk as I have been the past few days.  It's been hot this weekend, so I have been drinking tons of water.  I definitely needed to eat more to support my activity level, since I was hungry at bed time.

Hey greenmama. What a good hubby. This dietary lifestyle can be lonely. It must be great to have such loving support.
You really pack your days in with a lot of intensity, physically, and emotionally as a mom, a working mom...no wonder you get overwhelmed..
One time I was complaining about the laundry never being done Anne my husband said to me " that's where you are going wrong, the laundry will never be done. We are always wearing clothes and using towels and producing laundry, so you shouldn't think that it should ever be done" ....it was a bit profound because it changed my mindset from feeling inadequate because there was always laundry to do, to feeling good about how well I was managing it. I know it's simple, but it was a good lesson. Sounds to me like you manage your responsibilities beautifully, while caring for yourself, a great gift to those babies:)
