How do you manage being Raw? "Beginner here"

I live with my family, and I'm the only one who is trying to be strictly Raw. I'm not trying to convert anyone at home, I'd rather live by example. Besides being called monkey for having more bananas [trivial matters] and strange for more shakes, I still share with them none the less- without them asking.

But that's actually cutting down on my meals and I'm on a budget. They still have a pan of curried chicken waiting for them... I don't want to appear greedy, I've been getting my own food sometimes even before going Raw. How do I manage this? Should I stop sharing? Do they need to be converted also?

ps. I'm on a budget, so I also cant live on my own.

So it sounds like you're feeling torn, because you really love that your family is interested in eating fruit, and are longing to share the abundance with them. But also, you're feeling worried because you are afraid that you won't be able to get enough calories for yourself? I'm wondering if you're just feeling anxious and longing for inspiration and abundance?

Comment by Micah Gibson on May 18, 2012 at 1:08pm: Well, I think it would be good to let everyone know that fruit is all your going to be eating, then maybe they won't eat it as much, since they know that's what you intend to have as a whole meal. I think buying in bulk would help a lot too, maybe you could save some money that way =)

I think you'll be a really good influence on them, and maybe they could help get some fruit sometime :3
