Hi Everyone, I'm new to the LFRV lifestyle, since one week I've been doing my best, but it's not been 100% raw. The first 3 days I did wel, even though I did get tired, but I didn't eat anything else but bananas (smoothies), which makes me happy. But the last days it's hard not to eat something else for dinner. For breakfast I usually eat about 600-700 cal then another 600-700 for lunch and about 1 hour later I cave in, I feel SUPER tired and can't think to well anymore. I started of with barely making 1500 cal, but have been averaging about 1800-2000 cal a day in just bananas and I run/walk 30 min a day.
I know I need to eat more, but I can't. I feel super full the whole time as if the bananas are all the way up in my throat and the idea of eating more just makes me feel sick. It's weird because I can feel super full and not be able to eat anything more, but at the same time feel kinda empty. Not sure how to explain it.
I drink about 1 liter of water right after I get up, but it doesn't really seem to be going down, so that about 30-60 min later I start my banana smoothie I still feel too full to eat it.
I REALLY want to make it and eat only fruits, but right now it's really hard. Does anyone have some tips on how to stretch my stomach or how long it usually takes for someone stomach to stretch a total of 1000 cal?
Some feedback is REALLY appreciated as I am set on succeeding.
Warm hugs from Cabo.... Janneke

Comment by Janneke on April 30, 2012 at 2:48pm Thank you for helping me. Today was a lot better, I managed to eat/drink 2700 cal :) Very happy, the most I've eaten so far and I actually didn't feel as stuffed as before. And I didn't feel tired in the afternoon. Don't feel the energy burst yet that everyone talk about, but i'll continue and wait and see.
Comment by Luk on April 30, 2012 at 5:20am it will take time to addapt. On every level. Be pacient. Direction is more important than speed. Experiment. Smooties are great but some people prefer solid bananas. Do not forget the greens. They are big part of the program. Add more variety. And most importantly Have fun :]
Comment by Francesca on April 29, 2012 at 3:58pm Eat dates instead. :) Blended in water, they provide plenty of calories, and are easy to digest (especially if presoaked for a few hours).
